Leisure Facilities

For 2008 we will be adding a spa, games rooms (including snooker), and reading room to Saxa Vord. We will also have bicycles for hire.

In addition, there will be a talks and demonstrations programme for the evenings and we also plan to hold dances and musical events.

The Unst Leisure Centre, a few miles down the road in Baltasound, boasts an indoor pool, fitness suite, aerobics and aquarobics, and a wide range of games. Popular with islanders it is a great place to meet the locals.
